On  October 15^th, Almaty International Women's Club and Rotary Club Almaty have organized grandiose Charity ball - the Oscar Ball! The magnificent 5-star hotel «Intercontinental Almaty» became the Ball's  venue. In due order, gentlemen came to the Ball tuxedoed and ladies in luxurious evening dresses. Moet and Chandon champagne flew like water, and the menu of the evening was so various and daintith and the guests were tasting everything prepared with pleasure. After the official part the lottery draw took place with such magnificent prizes as flight tickets from Air Astana to London and Bankok, membership card to "Luxor" club and many other prizes. Also charity auction was held with the following lots: Gucci purse from G&G Glamour boutique, "Sinfonia" gold necklace from Graciella Italian Fashion house, a baseball cap with a signature of the first racket of the world Novak Dzhokovich and the fur coat Valentino from Sauvage boutique. The special guests of the Ball - signers from London.

All raised funds of the Ball were assigned for the following projects:
- help to orphanage #6 for a children with physical and spiritual deviances. Financial support was assigned for payment of medical treatment of children, food and utility charges.
-  organization of orphanages in Almaty city together with an Association of nongovernmental organizations with an activity directed to support of victims of human traffic, domestic and sexual abuse.
- $20,000 USD were transferred to "Dara" nongovernmental organization within "Daneker" project initiated by the Fund and directed for support of childcare centers for orphaned children and children with disabilities.

The Oscar Ball was supported by: PM Lucas Company, Kazakhstan Commerce Company, boutique SAUVAGE, Kazakhmys Company, Air Astana Company, HSBC bank, Scot Holland - CBRE Company, KPMG Company, METRO Company, the Euroasian bank, Coca-Cola Company, Graziella and Limar salons. The guests spent unforgettable evening in a genial and exquisite atmosphere confirming their intentions to support in the future charitable events in our country.
