The Haileybury School purchased household appliances to provide comfort staying of children in the Pediatrics and Pediatric Surgery Research Institute.
It is no secret that simple domestic pleasures can improve children's state during the long treatment. Indeed, it is a strong therapeutic effect from watching colorful positive cartoons! The Haileybury School donated TV sets and other useful household appliances to the 3rd and the 4th Oncohematologic Departments.
Money collected by the Haileybury School were used to purchase the following household appliances:
Vestel LCD Television - 33 pc,
Indesit Refrigerator - 2 pc,
Darina Electric Oven - 2 pc,
Microwave Oven - 2 pc,
Philips Iron - 2 pc,
Philips Kettle - 2 pc,
Television Holder - 48 pc,
Dryer for Clothes - 2 pc,
Ironing Board - 2 pc.
Total amount - 1 396 600 Tenge.
All equipment is intended for the household rooms of the 3rd and the 4th Departments of the Pediatrics and Pediatric Surgery Research Institute. The TV sets will be installed in the wards so that children can get pleasure from watching their favorite cartoons.
